Students from the Cooperative Undergraduate Education Program of Software Engeneering between Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics and Dalarna University,Sweden Visit the Chinese Embassy inSweden
Recently, seven students from the Class of 2021 of the China-Sweden Software Engineering Program, who are studying at Dalarna University in Sweden, visited the Chinese EmbassyinSwedenfor a fruitful exchange under the guidance of Professor Song Wei, the Swedish project director. The visit was warmly welcomed by Huang, the counselor of the Education and Culture Section of the embassy, and Director Yang, who had meticulously arranged a symposium for thegroup.
During the symposium, Professor Song Wei provided a detailed report to the embassy leaders on the China-Sweden cooperative software engineering program, which has been jointly run by our university and Dalarna University since 2015. The report covered the background, cooperation model, and achievements of the program, which received high praise and recognition from the embassy leaders. Subsequently, the students shared their learning experiences and insights from their half-year stay in Sweden and sought advice on issues and concerns they encountered during theirstudies.
After listening to the reports and questions from the students and teachers, the embassy leaders extended a warm welcome and best wishes to the students. They reaffirmed that the Chinese Embassy in Sweden would continue to provide comprehensive guidance and assistance in study and life matters for Chinese students. Additionally, the leaders, drawing on specific cases, delivered an in-depth yet easy-to-understand lecture on cultural exchange, interpersonal communication, mental adjustment, and risk prevention during the study abroad process, offering many practical and specific suggestions. Following the symposium, the embassy leaders warmly invited the group to share lunch, further bridging the gap between them. In the warm atmosphere, the teachers and students deeply felt the care and warmth from theirmotherland.
After the visit, the students expressed that they had gained a great deal. They not only learned many important tips for studying and living in Sweden but also deeply felt the motherland's care and strong support for overseas students. They pledged to maintain their original aspirations, fulfill their missions, and embrace different cultures with an open and inclusive mindset. They vowed to continuously hone and improve themselves during their studies abroad, aiming to return to their motherland as soon as possible to contribute their youth and strength to the prosperity and strength of thecountry.
